What is Docka?
Docka is an AI-powered application designed to answer questions about your documents without sending your data over the internet. We are developing two versions of Docka:
- Desktop Application: runs locally on a single computer. Docka is compatible with mid-to-high-end Windows and macOS computers.
- Enterprise Solution: a desktop application paired with a scalable AI server or cluster, tailored for companies with private infrastructure (private cloud or on-premises) or those planning to deploy one.
Docka not only keeps your data private but also saves considerable costs, as you don’t need to pay for usage-based cloud AI services.

Docka works locally on your computer or private infrastructure, ensuring your documents’ privacy.
AI-Powered with Validation
Docka gives concise responses with citations and relevant excerpts from your documents for validation.

How we do it
To run Docka on desktop and laptop computers with limited ressources, and provide quality answers, Docka uses:
- A custom data processing pipeline, using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and other techniques, to get knowledge from your documents efficiently.
- Multiple small and optimized AI models instead of a single LLM (Large Language Model).
- Models, compute and memory optimizations to run inference as fast as possible on your hardware.
